Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is developing a diverse program at various locations throughout the city, including Rotterdam South. This program is the result of conversations and shared experiences. In the context of talent development, Zuid. offers artists the opportunity to develop professionally and artistically through commissions and fellowships. Zuid. looks for the connection between contemporary cultures in the city and the collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen with residents from the neighborhood. Various activities and events are organized in which young and old come into contact with artistry.

Ignace Cami

Ignace Cami (1986, Belgium) is an interdisciplinary artist who breathes new life into old things. He looks for everyday things that have become disconnected over time and creates ways for them to reconnect in the present. Language, memory and stories play a central role in this. By playfully experimenting with different forms of cultural heritage and inviting other people to communicate or participate, Cami’s practice demonstrates his characteristic generosity.

Every Wednesday and Saturday from 2pm - 4pm | #workshop
Drop by for an art workshop in the Kunstwerkplaats at de Hillevliet. The workshop is free and intended for all ages. Walk in to participate, look around, or just for a cup of coffee or a glass of lemonade.
