On view at Zuid.

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is developing a diverse program at various locations throughout the city, including Rotterdam South. This program is the result of conversations and shared experiences. In the context of talent development, Zuid. offers artists the opportunity to develop professionally and artistically through commissions and fellowships. Zuid. looks for the connection between contemporary cultures in the city and the collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen with residents from the neighborhood. Various activities and events are organized in which young and old come into contact with artistry.

Christien Meindertsma

September 28 to October 29 | #hosted
Commissioned by the municipality of Rotterdam, Christien Meindertsma investigated how 'waste' wool from Rotterdam sheep can be used positively. The outcome exceeded all expectations: Rotterdam wool is not a worthless mountain of waste, but a treasure chest full of surprises.

The exhibition The Soft City, which shows the results of the research, is now traveling through Rotterdam and will be on display throughout October in the entrance area of De Hillevliet.
