Or maybe this is what you are looking for: the object was part of an exhibition called 'The Collection as Time Machine' until Januari 2019. This was the text that was written for it: "Verster was twenty-five when he made this masterful painting, a modern version of the large hunting still lifes that Jan Weenix painted in the 17th century. Verster was fond of hunting, and in his painting the dead animal is simultaneously majestic and tragic. Some contemporaries had difficulties with the work.
