At the moment, the museums presentation space is limited since the main museum building is being renovated. This piece is therefore currently not on view; it is being cared for in the depot. During one of our depot tours, you might be able to get a glimpse of it, but that is not a guarantee.

The small intimate still lifes by the Middelburg based painter are charming in their simplicity. The almost mysterious atmosphere of this delicately painted bunch of grapes on a stone plinth is typical of his work.
