A naked old woman with a taunting look and large pointed ears leans forward against a tree-stump. Her emaciated body is covered only by a cloth hanging from her belt. Her head is also covered with a cloth. A snake coils around her outstretched arm. This woman is a personification of Invidia, or Envy.
