Visitors to the depot can enjoy two sorts of tours. They can make their own way around the building or take a guided tour. Much of the building is accessible to individuals, who among other things can look at the items from the collection in the display cases in the Atrium. You can also see into the depots through the glass walls. It is not an art historical exhibition as such, but rather a way to express the collection’s substance, magnitude and diversity. The items on show are changed from time to time. There are also four exhibition spaces with displays of works in the collection that change more often than the displays in the Atrium. To help visitors navigate through the immense number of artworks, we are planning to develop supporting media – possibly a mobile app – that provide in-depth information.
