Zuid. Boijmans Van Beuningen is made possible by the support of various funds: Fonds21, Mondriaan Fonds, InnovatieLabs en Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Zuid-Holland.
Fonds 21 supported a pilot year in 2020 that enabled the museum to open an annex in the Hillevliet. Zuid. Boijmans Van Beuningen started without a fixed plan, but developed the first program lines with residents and local social organizations. This resulted in a multi-year program to which Fonds 21 has also committed itself. This allows the museum to enter into lasting relationships with residents and artists from Rotterdam-South.
