Print Room: Fred Carasso - A Sculptor’s Works on Paper

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen received a large part of the Italian-Dutch sculptor Fred Carasso’s works on paper on long-term loan. In the autumn of 2011 the print room was presenting more than forty drawings, collages and gouaches by the artist.

The selection was complemented by several small sculptures. The works on paper were extremely diverse in style and technique and demonstrate the artist’s great adaptability and empathy. Carasso’s social vision is a recurring element in his extensive oeuvre.
