Marten Hendriks - Time Slip

The exhibition ‘Time Slip’ features work from the past 55 years by Marten Hendriks.

Marten Hendriks graduated in painting from the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst in Arnhem in 1963. Using a wide range of materials and techniques, he has produced a lively body of work that can never be completed. Every image he makes is a commentary upon or a resumption, explanation or questioning of an earlier work. Despite its enormous variety, his oeuvre also has great cohesion.

The exhibition coincides with the publication of the monograph ‘Marten Hendriks – Leven en Werk’ by Alex de Vries, published by Uitgeverij De Zwaluw with support from the Mondriaan Fund, the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds and the Jaap Harten Fonds.
