More information

Minne made different versions of nearly all his statues. The slim, serene figure of a boy is one of his recognised themes. The relic carrier is a variant of this. The statue enjoyed much success and was executed by Minne in bronze or marble, and in various sizes. Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum owns both a bronze and a marble version of this statue.
