Prominent collection of Surrealist publications

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, which distinguishes itself from all Dutch museums with its attention to (international) surrealism, has an extensive surreal collection of 120 artpieces. This is regularly expanded and the collection makes a very large contribution to the international loan position of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. One of the most important areas of special interest in the library is therefore the collection of surrealistic sources and secondary literature. A good example of this is the magazine Minotaure, which appeared in Paris from 1933 to 1939 and for which various artists have made cover designs.
