This fragment of an altar piece depicts Christ being laid in the tomb. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are about to lower Christ into the grave. Mary and the three women are also present, two of them with a jar of ointment. The three women next to Mary are: Mary Magdalene, Mary Cleophas and Salome.
