Het Leven Verspillen Aan Jou
Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist created the site-specific work Het Leven Verspillen Aan Jouespecially for Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. The artwork is visible around thedepot from sunset until midnight and is a mix of video and site-specific art.
In the evening, the light caresses the bodies of guests, visitors, residents and passers-by. The slowly moving lights help you step out of your own bubble and invite you to interact – to bathe together in the coloured light. The projections surround the depot with beautiful video images and are reflected in the mirrored façade.
