The Rotterdam designer Hella Jongerius enjoys working with manufacturers with a long and successful history. For Tichelaar, Holland's oldest earthenware manufacturer producer, she researched the technique of maiolica production. The NON-temporary service can be viewed as an introduction to decorated ceramics because unglazed biscuit, white enamel glaze and decoration all has its own place on each item.
