This drawing is related to a panel painting by Cranach in the Courtauld Gallery in London. The scene is set in Paradise where Eve is shown seated on a resting deer before the Tree of Knowledge, at the moment she offers a freshly picked apple to a surprised Adam. He succumbs to temptation.
