The front of this square brass tobacco box shows a hulling mill. On the reverse there is a corn chandler's shop, with a coat of arms with the initials WW. On the top and bottom of the box there is a lengthy song of praise to corn chandlery. One of the long narrow sides of the box acts as a lid for a shallow compartment, containing the tinder, a flint and an oval firesteel.
