Anthonie van Borssom lightly tinted many of his
drawings with watercolour. A second version of this farmhouse scene, featuring
a wooden barn at the center and two haystack covers in the foreground on the
right, is held in Berlin, in the Kupferstichkabinett of the Staatliche Museen
(inv. no. 12000).
