kendi

Ask anything

  • samantha rin asked

is there a different word for kendi in dutch?

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

    Hello Samantha,
Good question: in Dutch we also use the name 'kendi' for these specific kinds of pouring jugs with a spherical body. It's the authentic name for this type of ceramic object, which is still used today.
    Kind regards,
    Manus
