    Hallo Anna, Het werk is in een museum omdat het is gemaakt door een kunstenaar, Chrisopher Wool. In de jaren 1990 onderzocht Wool of een schilderij ook een tekst kan zijn en in hoeverre de tekst een patroon of een beeld kan worden. De tekst op dit schilderij 'The show is over....etc." komt uit het boek 'Lipstick Traces' van de muziekcriticus Greil Marcus en verwijst naar het nihilistische levensgevoel van de punk generatie.
