More information

This pointed egg-shaped sculpture is decorated with eight valuable objects, each guarded by a dragon. These mythical creatures are benign creatures within Chinese art. The dragon, the symbol of highly-placed administrators, represents change, vitality, vigilance and protection. The eight valuable objects represent valuable traditions, the inheritance that must be preserved for posterity.
