    Hoe kan het, dat het kunstwerk is gemaakt in 2017, maar Hoos Blotkamp in 2014 is overleden?

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

    Dag Jorno, dit werk is afgedrukt in 2017, dus inderdaad na de dood van de kunstenaar. Wij hebben nog enkele werken die later zijn gemaakt dan de datum van het werk zelf. Dat kan met een print, foto, maar ook bepaalde installaties zoals de Mirror Room van Yayoi Kusama. Dit kan natuurlijk enkel wanneer wij het recht hebben om dit te doen (in samenspraak met de kunstenaar of met de goedkeuring van mensen die hier een besluit in mogen geven). Op dat moment zal het museum altijd beide data communiceren.
