The identity of this young Japanese woman, who blends so nicely into the background full of flowers, is unknown. Her portrait was painted by the Austrian artist Marie-Louise Von Motesiczky. Von Motesiczky studied in many locations in Europe, including The Hague, Frankfurt am Main and Londen. The artist would remain in London until her death in 1996. She leaves a large body of work of more than three hundred paintings.
