  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

    Dag Merel, Italiaans vormgever en architect Gaetano Pesce zoekt in zijn ontwerpen de grenzen op tussen architectuur, industriële vormgeving en beeldende kunst. Hij wordt niet tot een bepaalde stroming gerekend: hij experimenteert veel en is onvoorspelbaar volgens critici. Hij staat wel bekend om een sterk conceptuele invalshoek, en stichtte de 'Gruppa N' in Padua, de eerste Italiaanse beweging die zich bezighield met geprogrammeerde kunst. Ook heeft hij zich o.a. laten inspireren door de popart van Claes Oldenburg, misschien kun je dat in dit werk terugzien. Groeten, Anne-Rieke
