The collection of the Belgian office equipment manufacturer Bulo includes the Carte Blanche series, for which designers and architects have a blank invitation for submitting a design for a piece of furniture. The Belgian fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester took this blank invitation very literally and produced a series of desks without decoration, completely covered in white painter linen.
