May Holiday in the Depot

There is plenty to see and do at the Depot during the May holiday break. Visit the newly renovated education studio, join a workshop, explore the collection on a guided tour of one of the art galleries and follow the family route with fun facts and activities.

Welcome in the new education studio

Our brand-new educational workshop has recently opened. Here, you will discover how the museum keeps its thousands of artworks in top condition in a fun and interactive way and which professions are essential to this process. In the DIY Depot, you will get hands-on: look, listen, feel and try things out. Dress up as a work of art, become a painting restorer or listen to the stories of our treasure keepers behind the scenes. Everyone aged 4 to 99 can join in and dive into the hidden world of the museum.

Visit on of the art compartiments or follow the family tour

During your visit to the Depot you can access one of the art compartiments with a guide. An art compartiment is a specially climate-controlled space where artworks are organized by material and maintained under specific environmental conditions. Want to explore on your own? Follow the family tour, which includes fun facts and activities. On each floor, scan the QR code with the Depot app to get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the museum.
