More information

Bonnard made this lithograph especially for the second issue of ‘Les peintres-graveurs’. This series of albums was published by Ambroise Vollard, with prints by Toulouse-Lautrec, Vuillard, Redon, Denis, Bonnard, and others. The albums were published in an
edition of a hundred copies. In spite of the high quality they did not sell well.
