An ensign in armour and a well turned-out marksman stand in front of an elaborately decorated arch. As the coat of arms on the standard and the two shields below it – a musket above the Zurich city coat of arms – belong to the Zurich musketeer’s guild, it was probably the guild that ordered the stained-glass window made to this design. The imperial coat of arms with the double-headed eagle
occupies a prominent position.
