Landscape drawings by Govert Flinck are rare.
In addition to this tree study of a hollow pollard willow, only two other
landscape drawings are known, also signed, dated 1642, and featuring whimsical
trees. These are located in London, British Museum (inv. no. 1912,1214.13) and
Paris, Fondation Custodia (inv. no. 2796).
