Could the whore of Babylon be Elizabeth I. Ist Looks a lot like her

Hello Betty, thanks for your question. I have consulted our curator, but to him your suggestion appears very unlikeIy, even impossible. The whore of Babylon is wearing the pope's crown (tiara), thus symbolizing the Church of Rome. As Elizabeth was protestant, the whore cannot be her. Further he does not see any other references or similarities. Kind regards, Els
