Dit schetsmatig getekende landschap, met een dorp en bosschages in de verte en een eenzaam kruis op de voorgrond, werd in 1967 met enige reserve aan Joos de Momper toegeschreven, maar heeft daarvoor onvoldoende kwaliteit.1 De compositie en tekenstijl herinneren enigszins aan een Landschap met een heuvelweg in Berlijn, door Bock en Rosenberg eveneens aan Joos de Momper toegeschreven.2 Of het Rotterdamse landschap inderdaad een gezicht op de heuvels bij Arras voorstelt, zoals het opschrift (in een oude hand) op de keerzijde vermeldt, is niet vast te stellen.
