Ask anything

  • Rebecca asked

Hi is the Anthony Green painting ‘Our dear friends Martin and Jean Hawkins’ on view in your museum please? It is a painting of my parents- they were friends with the Greens. I would really like to come and see it.
    Thank you, Rebecca

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

Dear Rebecca, At the moment the museum is closed for renovation, but you can visit our depot (Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen), where the piece is kept and which is accessible to visitors. In the depot we offer a service called 'art by request' (https://www.boijmans.nl/en/art-by-request): our art handlers will bring the artwork to one of the study rooms and you (and other members of your family) will have a private viewing. So you are very welcome to see your parents portrayed by Green. Kind regards, Els
