    Hi René, thank you for your observation. I think you are right, the painting suggests exploring a location with arrows giving directions. I am not sure if a specific place is meant. According to the title the painting refers to days of happiness. We are not sure if the artist is referring to days of happiness in his own life, but if so, you would need to know more about his biography to find out which days he might have meant and where he lived at the time.
