Ask anything

  • Ho Kyung Kim asked

    Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I hope this email finds you well. I am Ho Kyung Kim from the production team of a lecture program called Great Minds broadcasted by Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS). EBS is a South Korean national public TV network which specializes in documentaries and educational media for our viewers.
To introduce our program, world-class leaders, academics and public figures from a range of fields appear in our program and share lectures about the future of humanity, offering a vision to a future generation looking for direction in these difficult times.
One of our lecturers is Sir Alex Callinicos, and we already finished our filming of his lecture and will be airing it in EBS for the Season 3 of Great Minds.
As a part of his lecture, we are hoping to use the following image as an insert during the lecture:
    https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b1/7a/45/b17a45fde6c7ee6e4e91cd84b95c239f.png
We would like to inquire about whether permission can be provided for us to use this image as an insert during the filming and if charged, we would like to ask for the licensing fee that includes the rights for use in terrestrial television broadcast in South Korea and also our online worldwide platform.
With your permission for the licensing of these content, it will create a more intricate lecture for our viewers worldwide. We would like to ask for your confirmation on the availability of licensing of the image together with the basic rate. If you access the following link, you can find information to our program as well as the lecturers who gave lectures for the first and second season of our program: https://www.thegreatminds.com/. Since we don't have a lot of time before the broadcast of the lecture by Sir Alex Callinicos, I would appreciate a response from you so that we can confirm the availability of the licensing.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me anytime.
    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    Ho Kyung Kim
