Perry, winner of the Turner Prize in 2003, is, according to the comical first line of his Wikipedia entry, ‘known for his ceramic vases, tapestries and cross-dressing’. In addition to richly decorated vases with elaborate narratives and fantastical cast-iron sculptures, Perry also makes extremely large prints. This linocut depicts him in the classical pose of a female nude in the manner of Titian, Manet and countless other artists.
