    Hoi! Ik vroeg me af wie wie is in deze prent en wat de correcte namen zijn. Ook vroeg ik me af wat het achtergrondverhaal precies is. Ik weet nu iets over Ixion en de wolk waardoor hij verleid wordt, maar hier houdt mijn kennis een beetje op. Alvast ontzettend bedankt voor het antwoord.

    Hoi Teuntje! Helemaal links zien we Jupiter (Grieks: Zeus), de man van Juno (Grieks: Hera). Helemaal rechts zien we Ixion. In het midden zien we links de 'ware' Juno (te herkennen aan de pauw), en rechts daarvan zien we de 'valse' Juno die in de vorm van een wolk Ixion verleidt. Boven haar draagt een 'putto' een vos over zijn schouder. De vos staat symbool voor de 'list' die daar plaats vindt.
