Berry Koedam Fund

We are delighted that, thanks to an annual generous donation from the Stichting Abramsen Koedam, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is able to establish a named fund from 2024 onwards: the Berry Koedam Fund.

As a gallery owner, Berry Koedam has spent many years promoting visual art in Rotterdam and providing artists with an international platform through exchanges and the organization of projects. Through this fund, she will financially support the museum in acquiring works by emerging and established artists, with particular attention to female artists and work that cannot be confined to a single discipline.

Acquisitions

Thanks to the Berry Koedam Fund, the museum acquired works by Silvia B. and Lizan Freijsen in 2024.

In 2025, thanks to the fund, the museum will acquire the installation I See I See I See I See Daily Paper, Clan de Banlieue, Sumibu and Concrete Blossom in Rotterdam-West (2021) by artist Pris Roos.
