I was wondering if thee Ettore Sottsass Tissot watch that you have in storage might be up for sale? If so I would very much like to buy it......

Dear Richard Bowen,
Unfortunately the items in our museum are not for sale. This particular watch, designed by Ettore Sottsass for Tissot in 1988, is a limited edition of 250.
We got it in our collection through a donation in 2013. Maybe you’ll be at better luck at an auction, E-bay or Catawiki. I hope this answers your question!

Dear Stefano, Thank you for your questions. Boijmans Van Beuningen is a museum and unfortunately we don't have information about an object's price and shipping costs. This watch has been donated to the collection by a private collector in 2013. Presumably it has been worn by the former owner. In case you are interested to buy a watch like this, it would be wise to look if one is offered at E-Bay or Wiki Art. Good luck! Els
