This life size sculpture is a self portrait. The artist looks up through a hole in the floor. We can see the room below, which appears to be a storage room but is in fact the staff cloakroom. Here Cattelan plays a convincing game with reality and imitation, undermining the viewer's expectations.
What material is the man made of, I'm doing my schoolproject on this man but can't find out what he's made of. Thanks a lot!!
