Art packing walk-in workshop

Get to know the different ways of packing and unpacking art. Which packing material is best for paper works, and which for ceramics? How do we ensure that fragile works arrive at their destination unharmed? Join us and learn how you can pack that antique vase when you're next moving house.

Highlights from the Museum’s Collection

Presentation I (A3.08) | Until Monday 3 April 2023

A display of highlights from the museum’s collection is now on view in the Depot. Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is a working building and visitors were able to follow the construction. This is a test set-up in preparation for a larger exhibition later this year.

In the depot you can participate in a guided tour. Sign up for this free of charge tour at the desk in the entrance area. During this tour, you and other visitors will visit different workspaces, see the artworks up close and hear more about the building, the management and preservation of a collection. The guided tours last 30 minutes.

Group tour

Group tour

It is possible to book a private group tour. During this tour you will visit different workspaces, see the works of art up close and hear more about the building, the management and preservation of a collection. Group tours are available in Dutch, English, German or French. The tour lasts 60 minutes and is for a maximum of 13 people per group.
