Plan your visit

There is always something to do at the museum. Besides visiting the special permanent and changing exhibitions, you can participate in activities, request a guided tour or walk through the museum at your own pace with an audio guide. Select here with whom and when you would like to visit and see what's on offer.

What is there to do
Art is not something just to be looked at; it is something you experience. In order to make art accessible to the widest possible audience, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has developed some special programmes. Unforgettable Boijmans, for example, is an interactive guided tour for people with dementia and their carers. The museum has developed Unseen Boijmans, a programme for blind and visually impaired visitors. For deaf and hearing impaired visitors there is the programme Unheard Boijmans. The Art Talk programme for adults has been specially developed for language teachers and is aimed at developing Dutch language skills. Check out the full programme here.

Eating and Drinking

Enjoy a cup of coffee, a piece of cake, a pastry or a beverage in the Espresso Bar at the front of the museum. The terrace with a view of the Museumpark is a must in nice weather. The part of the museum’s building which includes the restaurant ‘Het Paviljoen’ is no longer accessible due to renovations. Therefore, a pop-up café is set up in the museum's Richard Serra room.
