You can visit the construction site of Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen with an expert guide. You will visit the various floors, including the special atrium that rises through the entire building. You will hear the story of the design of the Depot, get a close-up view of the mock-up of the extraordinary mirrored façade, and enjoy a wonderful view over the city. A unique opportunity!
Groups can visit the construction site of this iconic building in an hour-long guided tour. There are also weekend tours for which you can buy individual tickets. Protective clothing (hard hat, hi-vis vest and safety footwear) is provided. To visit the building site, you must be at least 16 years old, with good mobility and not have a fear of heights. The tours begin and end at the green construction trailer in the Museumpark, Melkkoppad 15.
