Here you will find general information about the museum’s educational activities, including entry prices and the house rules.
Entry prices for school groups
Entry to the museum is free for visitors under 19 (excluding any surcharges) and their supervisors (maximum of 2 per 10 or 15 pupils free, depending on the type of group and visit). Students receive a discounted entry price of €7.50. You can find the costs for guided tours and museum lessons here. The prices stated are for programmes conducted in Dutch. For other languages, a surcharge of €15 per tour guide is payable.
In order to avoid disappointment, we require reservations at least three weeks in advance. Per 15 pupils (for special or practical lessons per 10 pupils) we require at least 1 supervising adult, and a maximum of two adults receive free entry. Schools are responsible for the behaviour of their pupils and for any damage their pupils might cause in the museum. School groups are subject to our house rules.
Cancelling a visit or informing the museum that the group will be smaller and will therefore require one fewer tour guide/museum docent may be done only by email and is free of charge until 5 working days prior to the museum visit.
Independent group visits
School groups that wish to visit the museum independently must announce their visit in advance. At least 1 supervising adult is required per 10 pupils. Schools are responsible for supervising their pupils and for their behaviour. School groups are subject to our house rules.
