The new Art Studio offers a space for encounters, inspiration and study. Children, adolescents and adults can watch films or participate in creative workshops. Every month there is a broad range of educational activities in the space.
Jurgen Bey has designed large glass showcases to display pieces from the museum’s collection, creating a museum in microcosm. The first exhibition to be held in the space, Google Boijmans, has been curated by Bey himself. The museum will regularly invite guest curators to select the exhibitions in the Art Studio.
The Art Studio is the first of three new platforms for the museum’s educational activities. This year the museum will also launch Art Tube, an online art video channel, and a television programme.
If you want to receive information about our extensive programme of educational activities by post, please email your address to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also subscribe to our digital newsletter.
The fit-out of the education space has been made possible through a contribution from the VSBfonds and the Van Leeuwen Van Lignac Stichting.
