Enrich your visit to the museum with the Boijmans Tour. With numerous stories about artists, background information to the works of art, exciting details, the view of the specialist and musical reflections. In the Boijmans Tour you can choose various routes. 

The Boijmans Tour is a web app you can download for free on your own smartphone on tour.boijmans.nl. Or rent an Ipod in the museum to view the tour (3 euros).

Highlights 

Dalí, Bruegel, Oldenburg and Gispen: this tour introduces you to more than fifty top works in
the collection and gives you information about the artist, origin, collectors, painting techniques
and much more. 

Bregje's Route

Museum guide Bregje from Boijmans TV shows groups of pole dancers, naturists and bodybuilders around the museum.

The Curator’s Choice  

The curators tell you personally about their favourite works in the collection, so that you look at
the works through the eyes of the specialists. 

Music route

Art inspires music, music inspires art. The music route shows how the two disciplines have
influenced each other. With classical music as well as pop music by Ellen ten Damme,
Tim Akkermans, De Staat, Brainpower and other famous or upcoming Dutch talent. 

Kids’ route (Dutch only) 

Take a musical trip with Simon Sorgheloos through the collection. A route for children
from 6 to 12 years old.
 

For special exhibitions, a multimedia route is also regularly available.
