CAMERA JAPAN Festival is a festival about The Japanese Culture with this years theme: Japalicious. On Saturday October 6th there will be a lecture and artist talks in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningens auditorium within this theme.
Noor Mertens, curator of the recent On Kaware exhibition will give a lecture about the exhibition and oeuvre of this renowned Japanese conceptual artist. Artists Ueda Maki and Ushida Yuya will talk about their work
An extendable sofa made out of 7770 wooden chopsticks and a perfume called the Scents of Holland. These are only two of the countless creations by industrial designer USHIDA Yuya and olfactory artist UEDA Maki who will discuss their work in person.
All lectures will be in English.
