'Trying is Buying': until 18 April 2010, the museum presents an overview of Jac. Jongerts oeuvre. He was one of the most important designers of his time, and famous for his advertisements for Van Nelle.

Until 14 February Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is presenting two seemingly identical versions of ‘St Jerome with an Angel’ by Anthony van Dyck. The question is: which painting is the original?

At the entrance area Moritz Ebinger built a radio studio. Until 7 February he will make radio broadcasts on the colour red.
Johan van Loon, 75 years

From 31 October the museum is staging an exhibition of earlier work and new ceramics by Johan van Loon (Rotterdam, 1934) to mark his 75th birthday.

Intervention #12 Call Sheet

From 15 August the museum presents the installation Call Sheet from artist and filmmaker Ine Lamers. In Call Sheet she shows the video USTALA (I'm tired), photographic portraits and video stills.
Exhibitions at the Print room

Several temporary exhibitions are on view at the Print room. The museum displays different works from the collection throughout the year. Visitors can digitally request a print and this will be put on display at a special show table .
‘Laat je haar neer’ (Let Your Hair Down) by Pipilotti Rist

The video installation entitled ‘Laat je haar neer’, a play on words that means both ‘let your hair down’ and ‘lay her down’, is on view in the stairwell in the entrance area.

Behind the entrance area, in the Willem van der Vorm Galery and Serra Hall are always new free exhibitions.
The Collection Two

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is 160 years old this year. To celebrate this anniversary the museum’s collections are being presented in new displays. For the first time the museum’s world-famous collection of prints and drawings is being combined with paintings, sculpture, the applied arts and design.
Intervention #9 Ten To One
Sylvie Zijlmans and Hewald Jongenelis invited ten friends in a meadow on ten consecutive days. They assembled the ten photographs of the ten meals to create a single image of a large feast. ‘Ten to One’ will be displayed from 28 February as a wall-sized installation.
