Users can share their collections with others and add their own descriptions. Visitors can also tag the objects, because when describing or searching for museum artefacts they often use keywords that are completely different to those employed by the museum’s curators or registrars. At my.boijmans.nl, online visitors can assign their own tags (keywords) to the artefacts. This not only improves the findability of artefacts, but also makes it possible to reveal novel interrelationships within the collection.
