A large portion of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s collection can be consulted online via collection.boijmans.nl, a website that presents hundreds of selected highlights. The artefacts are furnished with a photo, informative texts, scholarly information, specially selected links and videos from arttube.boijmans.nl, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s online video channel.

Input from visitors is welcome and appreciated: online visitors can attach their own tags (keywords) to the objects. Besides improving findability, this also makes it possible to uncover different interconnections within the collection, locating all the artefacts that are red or all the works in which a dog is depicted, for example.
