Museum Boijmans van Beuningen has grown thanks to art collectors and other benefactors who have held the city and the museum in high regard. Without the help of these private benefactors, the museum would never have grown to its current form nor would it have gained its current position in the top of Dutch museums.
In the future, as the government becomes less involved, private support will prove indispensable. With your support, the museum will be able to continue collecting and exhibiting at the same high level and make a contribution to cultural education. Gifts and legacies, in the form of art works or funds, will guarantee the continuity of the museum for the coming generations.
