The fourth summer exhibition in the Submarine Wharf focuses on painting. Kloosterboer, Martin and Shaw have transformed the 1930s building on the RDM Campus into an enormous artist’s studio with immense objects and paintings, some as large as a badminton court. De Volkskrant gave the exhibition four stars and wrote: ‘The art of painting is alive and well in Rotterdam: playful, brutal, new, young, different’. Artupdate wrote: ‘XXXL Painting is an absolute must, since we are seldom treated to art of this calibre in the Netherlands.

Make your trip to the exhibition complete with a cup of tea or coffee and a snack. Read more about ‘XXXL Painting’ in the Submarine Wharf here.
