On 10 March the museum will be the set for an absurdist spectacle during Rotterdam’s Museum Night. The evening forms the climax of ‘Boijmans in a State of Confusion’, presented by Pieter Jouke and Ronald Snijders.
Over the past few months, the museum has put the direction in the hands of Pieter Jouke and Ronald Snijders, known for the VPRO television programme ‘De Staat van Verwarring’ (The State of Confusion). Rotterdam’s Museum Night provides the context for the finale, in which the duo will give visitors the museum experience of their lives. There will be alienating interventions and absurdist performances throughout the museum. Come and experience art in a totally different way!
During Museum Night the pavilion is the setting for the launch of Art Rocks!, a project that unites visual art and music. There will be music between each of the performances and you can buy a drink at the bar. For more information see further on in this newsletter or visit our website.
